Rethinking the digital experience
Flag partnered with GID, a leading US-based real estate investor, operator and developer, to transform how the company communicates its commitment to responsible investments. The goal was to move away from dense, static reporting and towards a more dynamic, accessible and visually engaging digital experience that would resonate more with stakeholders.
Modernising communications for impact
The challenge
GID wanted to elevate the visibility and accessibility of its responsible investments efforts. The brief was to create a digital-first experience that would highlight key achievements and initiatives, while also providing in-depth reporting for investors and stakeholders wanting to know more. The company sought to reach a broader audience with a more intuitive and engaging format without compromising on rigour or transparency.
A dual-format suite for clarity and depth
The solution
Our approach comprised a five-page summary microsite and a comprehensive Responsible Investments Report PDF. The microsite was designed and built to showcase key activities from the year in a visually engaging, mobile-friendly format with intuitive navigation and clear calls to action. It featured a homepage dashboard of highlights and performance and four thematic pillar pages covering GID’s performance against their strategy in more depth. The main report provided a deep dive into GID’s strategy, governance, metrics and performance.
To complement this, Flag wrote, designed and produced a five fund-specific investor PDFs. Flag supported the project end to end with copywriting, editing, design and production.

The result
The new summary microsite and Responsible Investments Report PDF have helped GID present its story with greater clarity and impact. The microsite offers a quick, engaging overview for general audiences, while the full report meets the needs of investors and analysts. The project has been well received internally and externally, positioning GID as a forward-thinking leader in transparency.
