Flag appoints new director of data management and reporting technology to support growing disclosure demands

As expectations around reporting continue to rise and become more complex, Flag is pleased to announce the appointment of Jared Abramowitz, CPA, as data management and reporting technology director.
In this newly created role, Jared will lead the roll-out of advanced data and reporting tools to help companies meet the growing demands of regulators and investors. Jared’s work will focus on scaling Flag’s technology alliance partnerships and supporting businesses to produce accurate and auditable disclosures through robust and efficient processes.
This appointment comes at a critical time. New laws and regulations – such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and California’s climate disclosure laws (SB 253 and SB 261), and the adoption of new global sustainability standards such as IFRS S1 and S2 by several jurisdictions – are reshaping the corporate reporting landscape. As a result, companies are facing increasing pressure to collect, manage and report large volumes of financial and non-financial data, often with limited resources. To keep up, companies need smarter, more scalable systems that support robust disclosure and compliance.
This new role represents a key investment to scale Flag’s capabilities, particularly our work with leading platforms such as Workiva. Jared’s appointment strengthens our ability to help clients keep pace with the fast-changing reporting landscape and convergence of sustainability and financial requirements.
Working across Flag’s teams and clients, Jared will elevate our technology offering – accelerating the roll-out of the latest tools, streamlining data workflows and building systems that are ready for today’s and tomorrow’s reporting challenges.
Jared joins Flag from Deloitte, where he led complex sustainability and financial reporting system implementation projects for major global clients. He has also held prior roles at Workiva and PwC, giving him unique insight into the crossover of technology, regulation and reporting. At both Deloitte and Workiva, Jared developed deep expertise with the Workiva platform – leading strategic partnerships, building delivery capabilities and helping clients leverage the platform to streamline sustainability and financial reporting processes.
For over 25 years, Flag has been a trusted partner to the world’s leading brands, producing compelling yet credible reporting. This appointment strengthens our sustainability reporting services and expands our financial and integrated report offering, demonstrating our commitment to continuous innovation.
Victoria Taylor, CEO of Flag, commented:
“As reporting demands grow, many teams are being asked to do more with less – often navigating fragmented systems and shifting requirements. This new role reflects our commitment to staying ahead of the curve and our continued investment in the technology and talent needed to deliver world-class reporting solutions.”
Jared Abramowitz, data management and reporting technology director at Flag, said:
“I am excited to join Flag and continue supporting clients on their technology modernisation journeys, helping them unlock the full value of these platforms. Digital technologies such as Workiva have huge potential to simplify complex reporting processes and I look forward to continuing to guide clients as they meet today’s reporting needs and prepare for what’s next.”
